Each club in the Capital District Minor Football Association (CDMFA) has recruitment boundaries that they can draw players from. The Mustangs recruitment boundaries are within the City of Edmonton south of the North Saskatchewan River. Being based in south west Edmonton we recruit players from this area, however players from other areas may be "released" by their local clubs.
Divisions: Atom - Players who turn 9 and 10 in the current calender year.
Peewee - Players who turn 11 and 12 in the current calendar year.
Bantam - Players who turn 13, 14 or 15 in the current calendar year, and are not entering grade 10 in September this year.
Midget - A spring league for players in Grade 9, 10, or 11 and are 18 or under at the end of the current calendar year.
Registration is closed. Registration for the fall season will start in April.
The Registration fee for Atom, Peewee and Bantam divisions is $375.00 Included in the cost of registration is:
- Use of equipment for the duration of the season
- All practice and game times.
- Insurance coverage for all events.
- Team and individual player photo
- Players year end banquet ticket
Mustangs do not require parent fund raising over and above the registration fee.

Registration Checklist
- Mustangs registration form completed in full (all fields must be filled in)
- CDMFA waiver form completed in full
- Players will be required to bring proof of age to registration or equipment handout for visual verification by a SWEMFA official. Bantam players will also need to provide proof of school grade at registration or equipment hand out.
- Cheque for registration fee of $375.00 made out to South West Edmonton Minor Football Association (SWEMFA). Please note players name on cheque.
- Undated equipment deposit cheque for the amount of $300.00 made out to South West Edmonton Minor Football Association (SWEMFA). The cheque will be returned when equipment is returned and there are no outstanding funds due.
- Complete and retrun the Mustangs Volunteer Survey.
There is a $20 charge for NSF cheques.
Refund Policy If you change your mind and pull out before the equipment is handed out a full refund will be issued. After that the amounts change with time. After equipment is handed out, the registration fee less $50 will be refunded. After one week of the main training camp, the registration fee less $100 will be refunded. After two weeks the registration fee less $200 will be refunded and after three weeks there will be no refunds. A player will not be considered for refund until notice of withdraw from the program is received in writing to the registrar and equipment is returned.
The Capital District Minor Football Association (CDMFA) reserves the right to perform spot checks of players proof of age and grade. These documents must be made available to the league upon request.
